Comedian, Katt Williams was arrested yesterday on weapons charges in midtown Manhattan after police say they pulled him over for driving a car without license plates.
The 35-year-old performer was released on bail Thursday in time to make it for his show at Carnegie Hall. He told the audience that he "just got out of jail."
The comedian posted a $25,000 bond and eventually took the stage at Carnegie Hall and even referenced his arrest earlier in the day.

This wasn't Katt's first run-in on weapons charges either; On November 6th, 2006(<-same DATE)he was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after a stolen gun was found in his briefcase.
All I can say is-->Damn, Damn, Damn...when will our people get runners and stop gettin gettin caught up with the law. And the no plates issue is something I won't speak on only to say...that was ghetto fab..I can imagine the cardboard sign that said "License Applied For".

Katt is best known for his work in the movie "Friday After Next", "Pimp Chronicles", "A Pimp Named Slickback" in "The Boondocks" animated television series..and so much more. I love me some Katt.
